Globe1886 (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the RadioWake mobile application (the “Service”).

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

RadioWake is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or share your personal information. All alarms, preferences, and favorite radio stations are stored exclusively locally on your device. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible via https://www.globe1886.be.

Information Collection and Use

RadioWake does not require any user registration or account creation. You can use all core features of the app without providing any personal details such as your name, email address, physical address, or phone number.

Types of Data and How They Are Handled

Personal Data:
RadioWake does not collect, record, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII), device identifiers, advertising IDs, or usage analytics.

Local Storage Data:
All data required to operate the application—including configured alarms, volume settings, snooze preferences, fade-in timers, and saved favorite stations—is stored locally on your device using Android’s private internal storage. This data is never synchronized to our servers or any cloud service.

Audio Streaming & Network Requests:
When you listen to a radio station or when an alarm is triggered, RadioWake establishes a direct HTTP/HTTPS connection to the public streaming server of the chosen radio broadcaster. No personal data is sent to the broadcaster other than the standard network connection data required to deliver the audio stream.

Station Search Directory:
When searching for radio stations within the app, RadioWake queries the public, community-driven Radio-Browser API. Only your search keyword (such as station name, country, or genre) is transmitted to retrieve station listings; no personal or device identifiers are sent.

Device Permissions

To function reliably as an alarm clock and media player, RadioWake requests the following device permissions:

• Notifications & Foreground Service: Allows the app to keep audio playing reliably in the background without being suspended by the Android operating system and shows audio playback controls in your notification shade.
• Exact Alarms (USE_EXACT_ALARM / SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Required to trigger your scheduled radio alarms with precision.
• Full-Screen Intent: Allows the alarm screen to appear immediately over your lock screen when an alarm goes off, allowing you to dismiss or snooze it easily.
• Network & Wi-Fi Access: Used exclusively to stream live radio broadcasts and search for radio stations online.

In-App Purchases (RadioWake Pro)

RadioWake offers an optional one-time purchase (“RadioWake Pro”) to unlock premium features. All payment transactions are processed entirely and securely by Google Play (Google LLC) in accordance with Google Play’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Globe1886 never receives, accesses, or stores your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or payment credentials.

Third-Party Services and Analytics

RadioWake does not integrate any third-party tracking services, analytics suites (such as Google Analytics or Firebase), or advertising networks. External interactions are limited to:

• Google Play Billing: Secure purchase processing and license verification.
• Radio-Browser.info: Looking up public radio station directories.
• Radio Stream Servers: Playing the live audio streams selected by the user.

Security of Data

Because all your alarms and settings stay strictly on your physical device and are never sent across the internet to our servers, your data remains in your control. Uninstalling the application removes all locally stored preferences and alarms immediately.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because RadioWake does not collect any personal data from any user, no data from children is ever collected or processed.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
